Desert Botanical Garden is excited to launch Margarita 1939, the latest addition to its Spirit Collection with Chandler-based SanTan Spirits. This vibrant new ready-to-serve cocktail joins the Garden’s exclusive lineup of house-crafted spirits, Gertrude’s Founders Gin and Gertrude’s Founders Bourbon, that pay tribute to it founders, philanthropist Gertrude Divine Webster and Swedish botanist Gustaf Starck.
The ready-to-serve Cocktail is sold exclusively at the Garden. Purchase the new mix at the Visitor Center, open daily from 8 a.m. – 8 p.m. Proceeds benefit the Garden and support its mission-driven work.
Margarita 1939 celebrates the Southwest’s iconic agave plant with premium tequila, SanTan Spirits’ house-made triple sec and fresh lime juice from Tempe’s Sun Orchard, delivering a true taste of Arizona.
Margarita 1939 will be featured at Sonoran Sippin‘ on Sept. 19, where guests can enjoy a refreshing welcome drink, as well as live music, pop-up activities, scenic Garden strolls and more. This 21+ event is the perfect way to unwind and celebrate summer.
