On March 15, Desert Botanical Garden’s new The RAF Exhibit Gallery will be filled with 3,000 colorful orchids, representing more than 18 different species.
Orchid Fever is the Garden’s first-ever orchid show—a breathtaking display that celebrates the beauty and uniqueness of these fascinating flowers against the backdrop of the Sonoran Desert.
Guests will encounter a stunning array of orchids, in an array of sunset colors, from fiery orange to golden yellow to deep purple, each bloom is more beautiful than the last.
From a delicate Dendrobium species to an intricately patterned Oncidium species and other striking varieties, every corner reveals a new orchid.
This show also highlights a juxtaposition of orchids in both desert and tropical environments. The Garden, known for its beautiful desert plants, becomes an unexpected but stunning backdrop for the delicate yet lively orchids. The stunning contrast between the rugged desert flora and the soft, lush orchids creates a sense of wonder and harmony that’s hard to find anywhere else.
